| 1)
Every employer shall, as far as reasonably practicable ensure that |
a.
Anything provided by him to or for the benefit of his employees under these regulations
(Other than Personal Ear Protection) is fully and properly used: and, |
b.
Is maintained in an efficient state, in efficient working order and in good repair. |
| 2)
Every employee shall, so far as practicable use personal ear protection fully
and properly, when provided by his employer. If the employee discovers any defect
he shall report it forthwith to his employer. |
